Alice Dalton-Brown

Alice was born in 1939 in Danville, PA. Her work depicts realistic landscapes using oils on canvas, and on occasion, pastels on paper. Her scenes are so relaxed the viewer is transported out of their hurried life and into a calmer, more relaxed place. Her art beautifully captures moments to be treasured: twilight on a Victorian porch; rustling curtains at open windows; light sparkling on water seen through a window; the foliage in a tropical garden. These are timeless distillations of a near-perfect world, environments to dream in, and sanctuaries for the spirit. Dalton-Brown's works are in over 70 private and corporate collections including AT&T and Westinghouse.
