Healings may include shamanic sound healing techniques, vibrational healing, shamanic divination, sacred narrative counseling and consultation, chakric rebalancing, and Tree of Life journeying. The mental, emotional or spiritual issues these time honored techniques address include:

Bio:

Yvonne Owens, B.A., M.A., Marie Curie Ph.D. Fellow, is a Shamanic Practitioner with the Sacred Circle of Great Mystery Society. She is co-founder of the Thirteenth House Mystery School, the Imago Conference, and the Vancouver School of Shamanism. Yvonne is author of The Journey of the Bard, with poems and illustrations by Miles Lowry, and The Cup of Mari Anu, illustrated by Bay Area artist, Kevan Miller, and has published many articles and essays in international arts and academic journals. She has presented teachings and papers internationally, to many disciplines, academies, and conferences, on the healing alchemy available through the marriage of science, the sacred, and the arts. Yvonne is a musician and performer who has been teaching, healing, and performing sacred narratives in Victoria for the past twenty four years

The Journey of the Bard is an initiatory process, and sacred journey seminar, into realms of potent transformation and personal metamorphosis. Variously represented as the Tree of Life, the Chakra System, the Shaman's Tree, or the Celtic Tri-Cosmos, the sacred cosmology of traditional spirit journeying ushers the traveler into the numinous zones of transfiguring power and transcendent life force. This is a 9-week process and seminar that will take participants through the sacred realms of the Celtic Otherworld, while finding them to simultaneously reside within -- within this world, within the eternal, present moment, and within the body. We will discover the sacred modalities for coming to power embodied within the self, long preserved in the modalities of Western European Shamanism, Celtic mysticism, and the traditional sacred narratives and wonder tales worldwide.
